Postponed due to poor terrain condition - new date will be forthcoming. Likely MArch 23/24th - will confirm ASAP.

Open to all juniors + parents/drivers. Also seeking coaches and senior team members (and other elite orienteers) to shadow and coach juniors.

Saturday: Osbornedale State Park and Ansonia Recreation Area, nr. New Haven, CT
Sunday: Gay City State Park, nr. Manchester, CT

Program includes exercises tailored for different level juniors. Includes line course, route choice, bearings, contour only, aiming off, work in teams and pairs, simplification, relay, warmup, cooldown, handrail, distance estimation, map memory, corridor-O, pre-visualization, motala, maintaining focus. Bonus: age-appropriate orienteering-tailored strength training instruction at local gym. Above all: FUN!
