This is a traditional score-O event with an environmental twist.
Participants have 2 hours to collect as many course checkpoints and as much trash as they can before crossing the finish line. Don't worry gloves and any garbage collecting paraphernalia you could want will be provided.
This is a community event being hosted by Toronto Orienteering in partnership with Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. The location was chosen to support the Highland Creek Watershed Conservation efforts.
Litter collection will be scored based on weight.
Checkpoints will be scored based on distance from start as well as technical difficulty.
Registation is absolutely free but you must be signed up by Thursday Oct 3 to get the TRCA swag bag.
Prizing for category winners thanks to our sponsors.
