The event map for the first two days is Ukvitne. The map has been re-surveyed and drawn in 2006-2007. The terrain is 200-300 metres above sea level with rolling hills sloping down to flatter areas. There are extensive areas of open marshland (easily run), some cliff faces and steeper slopes. The forest area is predominantly spruce and pine forest with some areas of birch. Ukvitne map and terrain was also used during the Norwegian Veteran Championship in 2007.
On days 3 and 4 the competitions will take place at Bulko, with a completely new map. The terrain lies 400-600 metres above sea level and has not been used previously. The terrain is mixed with little vegetation or undergrowth, some marshlands (easily run) and grassy slopes. A moderate degree of steepness.
Both map scales will be 1:10,000 with 5 m. contour intervals.
