The terrain is situated at the city of Ilulissat with a view of the Kangia (Ilulissat Ice Fiord) and the Disko Bay. It is an open, hilly area with bare rock, stones or topsoil covered with moss, lichen, crowberry, heather and grass. At this time of the year there is daylight 24 hours per day. The temperature will normally be between +5 and +15 0 C. The maps are orienteering maps based on photogrammetry in scale 1:10,000 and 1:15,000. Contour interval is 5 meters. The following races will be available:
29'th of June: North Greenlandic Championship with middel distance courses according to age.
30'th of june: Sprint race in the town of Ilulissat with courses according to age.
1'st and 2'nd of July: Midnight Race with courses at 5, 10, 15 and 20 km in the middle of the arctic night under the midnight sun
2'nd of July evening: Party for participants.
You can use the trip to Greenland and go to Nuuk first and participate in Nuuk O-fest 2016 from the 24'th to the 27'th of June and use the 28'th to travel from Nuuk to Ilulissat
