Join us for the 4th Annual Off Road Rage Adventure Race on April 23rd, 2016. We are pleased to announce that for the 4th consecutive year, proceeds will benefit Camp Quality of KS! This camp specializes in letting kids with cancer (or who have beat cancer) be able to experience summer camp! There is NOT a better reason to race! Teams of 2, 3 (or a few solo racers) will be racing across untouched Kansas terrain. Many times throughout the race you will be asking yourself, "Are we really in KANSAS??".

The Short course: Don't be fooled by the "Short" in Short Course!! This race is a solid 6 hours of challenging terrain. 15 miles biking (singletrack and gravel roads) 5 miles trekking (running/hiking). You may start and finish in the city, but you will race in very REMOTE areas! This race will be suitable for most families with kids 10 and above in decent physical shape. You will be racing with a PLOTTED topographic (1:24000 scale) map (if you don't know what this is...look up some youtube videos!!) There will be NO paddling section this year, BUT you may still get WET! This race is UNSUPPORTED, meaning for 6 hours ALL food/water your team will need must be carried with you. Please make sure you have all required gear listed on this website. USARA daily membership required to race. Please bring $8 per racer (exact change/check helpful). Registration includes: swag bag full of goodies, maps, insurance, post race snacks and beverages, custom buff, finish line prize, and unforgettable memories!! Prizes will be awarded to the top 50% in each division!

THE EXTREME: 24 Hours of Adventure Racing bliss! This race will challenge newbies and veterans alike! It's time to introduce racers to an ALL NEW side of Kansas! The course will be about 110ish miles: 95 biking (double track, gravel) 12-15 miles trekking, 5 flatwater paddling, and some really spectacular orienteering (1:24000 and 1:50000 scale UTM TOOL REQUIRED!!). You are allowed to bring your own paddles, please bring them to race check-in on Friday night! Cross bikes ARE allowed this year. Now before you go screaming at the Race Directors...we DO NOT encourage cross bikes as there is some terrain that might not be feasible for cross bikes. You might experience A LOT of hike-a-bike. To each their own, if it's all you have, and you have always wanted to race...bring it. This is a USARA Regional Qualifier! Meaning: if your 3 person Coed team wins our race, each teammate will receive an awesome jacket and certificates, $400 towards your nationals registration and ridiculous bragging rights. This also means that ALL racers need to bring $8 to race check in for a one day USARA membership if you do not have a yearly membership. This course is UNSUPPORTED meaning you need to carry all food/water/supplies for your team with you! Hydration packs required. We will have a gear drop available about halfway through the race (more instructions at pre-race meeting). Water will be available at some Transition Areas. Registration includes: maps, insurance, custom buff, swag bag goodies, bonus finish line prize, post race BRUNCH, and beverages, post race showers (bring your own towel and toiletries) and 24 HOURS of unforgettable memories!! Prizes will be given out to the TOP 50% in each division!
