The Jolly Roger is the second race in Rootstock Racing's three-part Adventure Series. While paddling in Adventure Races can sometimes be mundane, with this race we strive to organize a day on the water that reminds people of the true joy of paddling. Whether you want to compete for the top prize in our Adventure Series or simply come out for an enjoyable float, you’ll be challenged by more than the paddling itself. Navigation will play an important role as teams use map and compass navigation along the course, exploring New Jersey's famed Pine Barrens in the Wharton State Forest.

This race is open to teams of 2 and 3 racers. Boats will be provided. Because of transportation constraints, we are limited to 24 boats, so register early to ensure a spot!

**Each team should include at least one racer proficient in sterning a canoe. Boat handling will be critical in completing this event.**
