Several events including Sprint, Middle, Long (Classic), Night, World Ranking Events, plus some training and clinics, including the annual Sass Peepre national junior training camp.

Variety of terrain including glacial detail, vegetated sand dunes, university campus.

Incorporating the Canadian Orienteering Championships (Sprint, Middle and Long), a team night event, and lower key pre-events. New top-quality maps for the COCs by mappers who have done top quality maps for Alberta and others before.

First major event in Saskatchewan. Organized by the Saskatchewan Orienteering Association, with the Alberta Orienteering Association and the Manitoba Orienteering Association.
