Billygoat event by NEOOC (North East Ohio Orienteering Club). Registration begins at 11:30 AM. Map is $5 for members/$8 for non-members. Maps do not have controls pre-printed, and you must budget 15 minutes to draw the controls yourself. There will be a mass-start, probably at 12:45 or 1 PM.
A goat event is like a cross-country event, with a mass-start, where the participant will have the option to skip one or two controls (the exact number allowed to skip will be announced one minute before start time).
Brecksville Reservation is a deeply forested area with large beech trees and deep ravines, muddy crags, steep slopes, and can definitely be challening terrain.
