Electric City Orienteering is hosting Part 1 of the US Karttapullautin Championship this weekend

Saturday, September 3 - Starts from 3pm-5pm
Middle - Lost Lakes
Intermediate and Advanced Course. Meet at this parking lot. The lot is small with only space for 5-6 cars. Please carpool if you can.

Advanced - 3.9k - 88m - 12c
Intermediate - 1.9k - 40m - 7c



Sunday, September 4 - Meet at 10am. Start at 10:30am
Relay - Shickshinny
Meet at this parking lot
and then we'll go to the start. This lot is also not too big. Please carpool.

Two person teams - The courses will be approximately 2.7k to 3k long

Accommodation:
There are many options for Airbnbs or hotels. But I would also recommend camping at Hickory Run State Park, a campsite on Hipcamp, or one of the free campsites in a state forest. There are several at Moon Lake just northeast of the relay area on Sunday.


All courses will use O-range and Usynlig-O. If we're extra energetic there might be streamers, but don't count on it : )

Depending on what happens with this event, I'd like to do Part 2 in October with a Long and Night-O

This is not an official event. There are no registration fees. But if you feel so inclined to say thanks, donations to the US Teams are very welcomed.

Not that this really needs to be said, but you're completely responsible for yourself and any minors in your care. Plan accordingly.
