This is a chance to orienteer and train at the site of the 2010 NAOC events. Our Master coaches for this year will be Patrick Goeres and Louise Oram both members of the Canadian senior national team. They have both competed at many World Championships (WOC).
The Training camp will be divided in two groups:
The intermediate and advanced groups will be focusing on reading the map on the run with pace changes, relocation techniques, simplification, pace changes, and flow.
The beginner group will be focusing on the fundamental orienteering techniques: Understanding contours and becoming comfortable using the map and compass together.
This is a rare opportunity ot get training from two of North America's top orienteers.
