The Middle Distance Champs will take place at Phambili – Muldersdrift (4 km NNW of the N14 –
along the R114) whilst the Classic Distance Champs will take place at Weltevreden (On the
opposite side of the R563 to Mogales Gate)
Final directions to the Event Areas will be provided together with the Start Lists and Course Details
1 week prior to the event. Information will be posted on the RACO website and emailed to clubs
and participants.
Phambili is a small area in a valley with mixed grassland, dense bush, rocky outcrops and cycle
paths. Entrance gate at S 24 56’ 47’’ E 30 50’ 42’’ – follow signs to event center.
Weltevreden is situated on top of a ridge, allowing for a mixture of gradients and vegetation types,
dense river vegetation to open grassland. Entrance gate at S 25 55’ 48.6’’ E 27 38’ 31.9’’ - follow
signs to event center.
Both areas are also 4x4 vehicle terrains, with numerous dirt tracks in the area
