Do take note of the way fight is depicted on this version of the map as you are copying your course.

This version of the map differentiates fight due to forest conditions (poor visibility) from fight due to undergrowth conditions (good visibility). You will notice a new undergrowth symbol to depict this "undergrowth fight" (same as the other two undergrowth symbols, just with the green vertical lines even closer together).

This is not an ISOM-compliant way to depict fight, but the mapper did the fieldwork this way. For last year's Robb Hill map, I lumped both types of fight together and printed them as third green, as the ISOM calls for. This year I've kept them separate.

If you ran on last year's map and now run on this one, I'd appreciate your feedback about whether this way of depicting the fight makes the map any more/less usable/confusing. -IndyBass
