FVO event at Abbey Craig.

Legs so so tired, they need a rest. Struggling on the uphills especially and wasn't really able to attack the course. Just trundled round, lost about 1 min trying to find 14 (despite already visiting the site previously). great fun though, a nice and tough course.

Seat solo. R Achilles quite sore on the ascent up, clicking away. twas a bit better on the flat. legs tired, but a nice sort of tired, feel like I might be getting fitter.

Post bikefit, went for a spin up and down the Dukes pass.

Lowering the saddle seems to have done wonders for knee and saddle sores - no real issues so far (although this was only short). Wasn't going all out on the climb as I was trying to adjust to the new seating position. Quads feel like they are getting worked a lot more now, quite sore at the end.

Bumped into Brian Bullen on the ride back over.

Good nights sleep "wild" camping by a layby, although punctuated by some campervan clowns trying to find a spot to stay at 3.30am. Woke up to a gorgeous blue sky.

Just aimed for two munroes today to reduce pressure on achilles. Just walking when I could with poles, a bit more running than last night.

Not much to report. The direct line between the two throws you over steep craggy ground which I then had to back out of (should have read guidebook). Clouded over towards noon and then a few snow flurries at the top of #2. Lovely views West to mull, and South back to Ben Starav, Cruachan and Lui.

Didn't see anyone else on the hill.
