Ahhh MK Bowl on a warm dry evening <3
Missing a bit of rain actually to soften the bumps and the course was a little tame
Not been loads of bike time so a bit of a cobweb blow-out
Was in the top-10 early on but probably dropped to top-20
Not enough cadence and when I looked at my watch when it felt like two-thirds done it was not even half-way
Still good fun and beat the tossers on their fancy bikes (though one did flat but maybe on purpose?)

Hopefully we can get this going on the regular again
Pete has such a good training area maybe even too close!
Dropped after about two minutes on the first one
The second I could not even see them after half-way which was a serious reality check and I was questioning whether doing four was a good idea
Decided to give myself a headstart on the third and make Pete work for it which he did
Felt great on the fourth
A decent session in the end
Right knee sore on the jog back and left side-hip was threatening I think also actually quite beat-up from gym S&C class

Not won a race in fricking ages and although it seemed to be the only race on on Sunday the field was thin which was ideal
Got a shield as well lol

Disappointingly did not make it back in time for any local fell races to deploy the altitude training sad as 8 minutes of Kerridge Climb looked ideal. So had to run from home instead. Still, the nice evening made it a soft reintroduction to Manchester weather.
