Trail Run race (Isle du bois) 1 [3]

I got ready for the race but decided not to leave my house. It was cold, rainy and windy. I had decided to embrace the mud when the forecast started showing rain (the day after I signed up). My original plan was just to do a loop and reevaluate how I felt. But at the last minute, all I could invision was my bronchitis turning into pneumonia at Christmas. This made my husband happy too. I second guessed myself all day. On Sunday the junk in my lungs started to break up. If I had raced, that probably wouldn't have happened. So it was probably better that I stayed out of the rain and cold.
My dr had originally wanted me to wait a week to start running again but I think I should be ready by Tuesday though.
