I owed a hill work out from two weeks ago and thought this would be a good morning to try. I did better than I anticipated. My warm up section was almost two minutes faster than usual. At 25 min of hills, I started feeling it but in. General finished strong.
Right now, my only concern is why my resting heart rate fluctuates so much between days. It goes from 50 to 65. Once that stabilizes I should be 100%.

Upper body. Previously I had been doing circuits but today was just heavy weights.
I should be good to start normal training again. It’s about time.

It turned out to be an ok run. Initially I was struggling with the hills. I had to walk about half of them. I kept working and it got better. 2 hours was a good stopping point.

Very slow easy flat trail run to start out running again.
