Recovery run on the gravel and grass trails in Overtoun Estate and Lang Craigs Wood. Left knee more or less fine when I run which is a relief. Right knee is always a bit stiff since I trashed it a few years ago.

Interval session with the athletic club on the trails on Linwood Moss on a wet and windy evening. My left knee was a bit sore today and I was really worried about it before the run but it was fine. Very relieved.

Session was 6 x 5mins (2mins easy jog recovery). Running well so another solid run. First rep a bit slower but not as bad as some.

Run from the house over to Houston House Woods then loops and laps of the trails in the wood and the two fields. Did each hill twice - a total of 34 hills of varying length and gradient. Lovely and sunny but very windy at times.

Usual struggle for the first 20 or so minutes then settled down and was running quite well and managed to push up most of the hills. Good session.

Another disappointing plod round Linwood Parkrun on a windy day. Legs very heavy and the usual slow start unable to go with the pace but got faster as the run went on. But had a good battle with Ryan and Aurelia (W14!) from the athletic club. Keep telling myself all will be well at the target races and I'm just tired from all the training I'm doing.

But Mrs P ran her 200th Parkrun today so all is good!
