I overdid weights yesterday. I am pretty sore and I think I actually strained my LEFT T8-T10 intercostal muscles.....anyway, this run was in Berkley and it was slightly hilly. I was so tired - my legs were. Mentally I was fine. It was a sluggish easy run. oh well.

Make up sleep but i feel good. I ran around Golden Gate bridge on Marin side and started to go into headlands but the hills were too much for my run #2 today so I only went in and came out. Was still a little hilly but got my paces in. Warmed up 15 minutes and did first mile at 7:50 easy for 2-3 minutes then second mile at 7:40 pace, 2 easy third mile at 7:20 pace and 2 easy and last mile at 6:50 pace (some of it was downhill). felt great!

On the flip side, i didn't sleep but maybe 2-3 hours thursday night and flew to Oakland at 6am from vegas. I was so tired I went to some hills in Walnut Creek and tried to run but ended up hiking for 60 minutes. i will definitely get my runs in saturday and sunday. just a weird week. i mentally feel good. my sleep was off. i have no idea why. zero. i looked at whole week.

I woke up, ate my breakfast, planned to do tempo run. felt really tired so decided to take quick nap. well I went back to bed at 8:30 and woke up at 11am.......i was shocked i slept so long. i actually feel pretty good so i had to go to work at that point.
