Easy jog with a few hills around Belvoir and Lagan Meadows with Susan. I think running with me is bad for her given the SVT incident whilst we were jogging downhill.....

Tribal. Was slightly disappointed when the rope work turned out not to be slams as I had a few frustrations to work out.

Orienteering 44:09 [4] 4.97 km (8:53 / km) +200m 7:24 / km

Belfast Castle score training. Had a discussion with a couple of the guys in the 5min map peek about strategy, there seemed to be 2 routes (if you knew you wouldn't be able to get them all), start left or right. Left route had less climb but the majority of the 30 pointers were to the right. So I went right. Unbelievably slippy underfoot, I had to physically crawl up one hill as I could just get no grip. Lost a bit of time on one of the downhill legs as I wussed out of going straight down the incredibly steep hill and ended up picking my way down through some brambles instead. Managed all but 6 controls, ended up 3rd overall - but highest score of everyone who got in on time :)
