This one tough one today. I fell off Derek and Jordo about 8 mins in. Super tired and legs really heavy with all the training and what not. BUT... I focused in and accepted the grind and committed to getting back up with them. Took the next two sets and for the last 6mins I was actually running faster then the beginning portion ... note ... at no point whatsoever did this workout feel good!

Really happy that I was able to run well and come back from being dropped a fair bit.

Run was pretty tough to start but after about 40 minutes it got better. Pretty sore from yesterday in calves and the right big toe was bothering me.

40 shake out. Running was much nicer this morning without the wind. Run was a below average run but I got the time in. No real changes in anything from this morning.

This was a really solid workout. I can't believe it went so went considering I ran like garbo and felt terrible yesterday. I've pretty much come to the conclusion that I run MUCH better in the morning. First one was a feeler; 2nd one, I was warmed up and flowy; went to work on the third one - although it wasn't much faster; last one, pretty much all I had the entire time and it was tough right from the beginning. But.... happy it was the fastest.

Times: 12:56, 12:37, 12:34, 12:30

Friday Apr 21 #

Running 35:00 [3] 7.78 km (4:30 / km)

Preactive + 35Barefooty
Hip Mobility
10 minutes Drills
2 x Strides
5 x Speed Ladder Drills
1 x Stride (All out)
3 x 10 Medball Slams and Medball throws with a jump (2kg)

This was really good today! And after yesterday's disaster I am quite pleased. Ice bath likely helped. Anyways first three laps were rough but then I got better and I felt great.
3 PM

Running 1:00:00 [3] 13.33 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-2000 series 5

Track practice was canceled due to weather (made me really happy). So I was able to get this done earlier and then be home when everyone got home for a change.

Ran on treadmill inside of fighting with the weather like Tuesday. Figured since I wasn't doing strides cause I did them this morning a treadmill was sufficient. Felt as if I may be getting sick so that was another reason I didn't rain in the rain.

Run felt pretty good though... Ran a rolling hills option.

Wednesday Apr 19 #

3 PM

Running long 2:15:00 [3] 30.0 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-2000 series 5

Skips + Swings + Lunges (10)
2:15:00 Run
30 HOH
Hip Mobility
Roll/Stretch
Weights (Day 2)

This was just awful. All 135 minutes of it. I just I was working much harder than I thought on Monday's workout and Tuesday's run in the wind and rain (which caused a wickid ear ache) probably drained me more. Either way some really good work was done with learning to suffer
