Still struggling to get quality sleep. I'm going to bed at about 10 fairly tired but after a bit my brain just clicks into another gear and just have the same thoughts going round and round. Didnt get to sleep until around 2 last night and 1 the night before that. Starting to think this is linked to other issues i'm having.
Been feeling a bit tired all day, possibly linked to not sleeping. Did 15min of chilled core work. Tired in the middle of the day so took a 15min nap but didn't sleep.
Heart rate is high but not too tired during the day. Two dips from 10-11 and after 9pm.
Road Running 5:00 0.93 km (5:23 / km)
Just realised I haven't run in almost a month and since in that time I haven't see any improvement I though I may as well. Obviously I didn't feel good due to lack of running+OTS but had Colin for company so was a lot of fun. Feeling quite tired afterwards but I expected that.
Post run had a 20 minute nap and felt tired for an hour or two. Feeling like I have more energy this evening though.
After it having to be rescheduled several times I finally managed to have my appointment with Dr Dunbar at the university, sports medicine specialist. Explained my symptoms and basically my whole situation over the past year. She seemed to have a good understanding of UPS and thought I was close to the boundary between OTS and CFS but more towards OTS.
Anyway she said she'd speak to colleagues at a UK conference next week and together try and design a rehabilitation programme for me. So no answers yet but should hopefully get some by next week when I go back to talk to her.
Baseline tired sort of day. Have slept pretty bad the last few nights which isn't helping. Either not getting to sleep till about 2 or like last night went to sleep originally but was wide awake from 12:30-4am.
