Felt a bit tired and lethargic most of the morning. Maybe physically maybe psychology, probably both. Anyway went for a quick spin round BoA and Causewayhead. A ride of two halves - spinning super easy with a tailwind over to BoA then headwind the rest of the way. Made it hard to judge how i was feeling not helped by my watch and hrm being out of charge.

Legs still feeling more tired but overall energy is only down by a bit.

Really let my head slide into a bad state while trying to get to sleep last night. Think I've got things under control again now but was scary to be like that again.

More cx action round the castle. As fun as riding off road is I think more steady effort rides would be best next time. Generally feel okay but legs lacking power on steep stuff.

Quick spin out to make me feel better. Good to get out even if it's for 15 minutes. Didn't notice feeling below par except a little carrying my bike up some steps. Not using the heart monitor because I would just stress over it.

Note

A little more tired than baseline in the evening but certainly nothing extreme or worrisome.

This is the time which is mentally the toughest, when I know i'm below optimum health, I can't get the same satisfaction from exercise because I'm anxious of overdoing it and I'm trying to distinguish between whats actual and anxiety driven fatigue. Going to be a tough week or so but confident I'll come out the other side okay.

Just enough to get out and feel I've done something constructive outside today. First spin out on the new cross bike exploring a new path.
