East district XC U20 - 10th
Aim was to start off slow which didn't really go to plan when I dropped a 3:00min first km. But, despite feeling quite rubbish on the warm up legs didn't feel toooo bad (a little bit dead but wasn't unexpected). Carried on strong with Bash moving through the field on the first lap. Was quite fun racing head to head with Bash, I was getting him on the hills and then he would catch me back up on the downs. On the last flat stretch of the course I has just enough energy to put in a little surge and get away from him.
Happy with my current form and going strong.
