Easy morning on grass. Originally though I'd do Mona's but couldn't really be bothered. I should rest before a big weekend anyway. The plan is faster 30k on CP dirt track on Saturday and Sunday Colo river fun run with the boys , which should be also around 30k, but pretty slow.

With Andy from the CBD to the SSS and then from the SSS back home. Felt trashed after the SSS but was actually feeling good towards the end again. But straight after getting home, my bowles exploded...

SSS Drummoyne

Not overly keen on this one (dull area) but packaged it up into a long run. Very soon realised that my legs are too tired to push it in the fast area so after around 5k stopped trying. Did a 30 sec mistake around the same time and had a suboptimal route choice around start/finish area. 90sec slower than Glenn and 45'' behind Keelan, just ahead of Andy.

Easy lunch trails. Very pleasant weather for once, have never seen so many runners in LCNP before (=6 or 7 haha).

Moo stairs death - 10, 10, 5 (8:11, 8:27, 4:23). Started pretty hard which I regretted later... Ran into Bull who is injured again :(

Note

Very happy with this week. Didn't get to run much on Vanuatu and needed to get straight back into it - resulted in a 100k week (140km in 8 days). Legs a bit tired throughout the week but felt fine today. Heel pain seems to be stabilised, knee pain gone. Bring it on Tarawera!
