This was really tough going today, legs felt so heavy and just no go, about 3mins slower than 2022. I wasn’t expecting a fast time due to lack of 10k race fitness, maybe I did get a touch of covid from Ian and not just a sinus infection. On a positive note I made it to the start line which I didn’t last year and I was also first W60 so came home with 4 cans of (non alcoholic) beer which actually tastes pretty decent.

Ran the Light Green (3.4k) as a warm down from the 10k, didn’t expect to have to run over 5k. Enjoyable wee run around the park and surrounding streets, Sarah McAdam’s first event as a planner.
