Anzac weekend tramp with Brent and Georgia.
From Matakitaki Station up Nardoo Creek to Nardoo Hut

Started out across farm, then 4wd track then hardly used track - covered in ferns etc = pretty. Had a fairly heavy pack with lots of gourmet food. Found a walking stick which helped on the rough and the uphill. I started to blow out when we got above the bushline (steep). Nardoo hut had 2 beds (bunk) and not much space, but well insulated and came with hut-gumboots. Pork and noodles for dinner
