Lazy social walk up Majura with Ric, Dave&Mel on a misty rainy day. Nice to get out and stretch the well used legs. Couldn't possibly do more today! Lunch with many hot chocolates, chips, soup and chat was long and pleasant. A great way to spend a non-work day.
Wore my old blue trailrocs.

Some lucky scheduling meant I could try the Speedy geese session at parly house. What a great session and group. Very friendly, encouraging and welcoming, and some great structure run by Geoff-with-whistle. We did 3 person relay pattern on a large rectangular grass area. Fun to run fast and tag team members. The warm up lap of the parly house bush trail is very pretty - I've always wanted to explore trails up here.

Then when I thought we were done, we moved to steep grass (rolling) hills and did hill ints up to different lines across the grass, jogging down. I had no legs for hills so shuffled through this.

With Flan on perfect cool autumn morning with 3 balloons aloft and mist sitting in the valleys. Walked to top and down with Flan as our warm up lap. Then did 3 hard ups in 5:32 5:22 5:21 trying (and failing) to run as far as the nature sign before changing to a walk. Cruised down the track to the north of the steps which is easier than descending the stairs.
Green smoothies, great breakfast and many cups of tea at Flan's after with Gramps joining us. I entertained the 3 year old for hours which is more tiring than running up red hill.

Last run of this trip, explored the headland we stay on first, then off on usual route. Perfect and enjoyable run until ... I stacked it. Caught toe on a banksia root when I was furthest from house. Strangely enough, there is always a moment where I enjoy being airborne, but it never lasts.

Some impressive skin removal and bruises ( left elbow and left thigh) and broken sun glasses, but nothing worse than a flesh wound. I was tired otherwise I would have done the fancy dance that keeps me upright. Oh well, worth it anyway!
