Busy today and felt like a rest, so just a commute to theatre and back. Dress rehearsal ok, better to stuff up now than opening night. Rain has been amazing - about 50mm over a day or so, like living in the tropics.
Left knee, back, everything feeling pretty good.

From home then some hill climbing on black mtn which felt really hard. I couldn't even stay on the bike due to lack of technique. Fred led the way dressed very convincingly as a Mamil. I've never ridden with a mamil before!

Went quite hard up steep FT to top, running the last bit. Could feel the session in my body for hours afterwards. Really wanted to nap! Took a rest at the top where Fred took photos in posted something about TYFFs to a friend. But I wasn't faster for lots of it so he lied. Saw Lou Sh a few times and Davo on bike at top. Nice to accidentally see friends.

then cycled home. I was hopeless descending the steep and very rocky trail, Fred was soon way out of sight as I adjusted my seat height. Very very glad I adjusted brakes before heading out. After changing my herniated tyre I thought I might as well give brakes attention. Nice to ride a functional bike. Dropped by a BNothing house on way home to pick up a xmas tree alternative of bright coloured paper balls.

squats, single leg squats (still need to hang on to bench), wide leg squats. These are all feeling stronger including left leg hurray!
Abs stuff. Also I fit into my Cape Grim Tipping Point pants this morning; am healthy lean person

With Ruth and Ewen at the back of the speedygeese sun morning run from Ainslie shops. Ewen was doing short run/walk intervals which suited me perfectly. But after 23 mins I turned up the run-up route while they continued around Ainslie. I walked to top, did some stretches, refilled my bottle and marveled at the heat. Down CCT, then single track to S-tree where I had a break climbing the tree and taking some pics. Explored a couple more single tracks aiming to come out close to shops - nailed it! Ran into Dave Goose and had a chat and some silly pics.
Breakfast was very enjoyable, enhanced by Ewen's startling combination of pancakes, bananas, toffee wafer and ... gravy. Oops! waiter chose the wrong sauce bottle. Ewen ate a good few mouthfuls before deciding it wasn't right lol.
