Foot is feeling rather better today. Continue being careful.

It was good to ride to base of blackie making run shorter.

Left bike near car park and hiked up to top with plenty of time and got there first. Soon joined by owen adam flan but no ric. Found him on way down. We ran clockwise around the loop. I stayed at back and ran and walked to keep achilles happy (it is! yay!). Then we stopped and chatted by road. I turned back while they did the longer part. Jogged and walked down to bike. Was great having Flan along again.
Chose vego rice paper rolls and small hot and sour soup which really hit the spot. Impressed the others by ordering prawn chips. Erica did some enthusiastic texta work on Dora the Explorer and blackhole told of how ambulance was sent for Rad on tues run-up but he was ok, just slow due to 37C heat!

An estimate of run time, all in short intervals taking care on up hills especially. Felt pretty good running along the shaded and still damp track with bush very beautiful after rain.
Am back in my purple Inov8s which felt good.

Blackie from home. Set alarm early but got sidetracked so it was a bit hot by the time I finished this. Wanted to do a long session that tired me out but needed to be walking. Up blackie via the YGO route to top, down diagonal stepped path, left at circum and ran and walked back to junction. Running felt a bit more coordinated than last few times, achilles felt fine but I knew it would be sore later if I did too much.
Down concrete path where I passed a man carrying a badminton racket. I have pondered and pondered and can not think what he was hoping to do with it. No shuttlecock in the other hand. He was running up the steep part, working hard. It's a mystery.
Took some detours on the way home through oconnor, didn't really mean to and I was a bit tired and hungry when I got home. Achilles is now sore.

Walk warm up for 10 mins then 8 mins of intervals and easy drills aiming for good form and feeling good. My legs are generally stiff and creaky at the moment and running isn't feeling good. Just a matter of time I suppose. Achilles felt ok during, bit achy after.
Had peppo tea and sat under oaks at sly fox afterwards, then home via shops for supplies.

Suburban, up to the little round hilltop reserve at top of oconnor. A little sore after but felt good again after getting up and easing into next day. Needed walk for the brain.
