Sore feet from yesterday so just a short walk and maybe some core later.

Well that was an epic adventure.
As a few have commented already about distances I'll just draw a smiley face :) and reflect on the course. If we are going to drive a few hours for the event may as well do a long course and enjoy it.
Started out slow and tried to get around without making any mistakes and good route choices. By and large I think I managed that although fatigued more than I expected and think I may have traveled somewhere around 14kms all in with at least double the climb indicated.
Was too low towards 5 so ended up one creek over. Cost maybe 5 mins there. Pulled up one spur short on 10 as went away from plan on when to leave fence line which cost maybe 4 mins.
Was slow the whole way around and feet were sore by the end.
Good long leg where route choice looked ok.
Was surprised by lack of water on the course where 1st available was 3/5ths of way around and second was on a track not at a control - neither were marked on map. Eh - I guess that's why you take your own.

Did course 2. Thankfully in hindsight reflecting on Sunday's effort.
Forgot my watch so not sure of distance/climb but pretty much straight lined everything and hit everything nearly on the head apart from the two shortest legs.
At 5 the control said spur and yes it was, but it was on a rock so I went straight past it. Cost me maybe 1 min.
At 6 I missed the top of the erosion gully so again maybe 1 min.
Pretty happy with run overall but should have been sub 25mins in reality.
Went out and collected a control after - yes just one but it was the furthest one!

Nice run thru Morialta with Isabelle before she heads off to Brisbane. First time running hills in ages and it was noticeable. Plenty of water flowing in the falls.
