Hills and scratchy scrub. Erk. Aside from that, and the control on the slippery slope it was a fun run in pretty good conditions

Went out and checked control and potential control cites with JC. I wouldn't normally write this up but as it was 38C and humid it was worth mentioning. I left my hat in the car for reasons unexplained. it also took 50mins to get from town to Flinders Uni with the South Rd debarcle diverting traffic. At least i didn't get a flat tyre.

Orienteering Training (SE parklands) 20:37 [4]

So training was one person run while the other stayed at base and guided them via a mobile phone. Awesome. I teamed up with Brodie and he ran first. Did brilliantly apart from one control. I went second withe exactly the same result - one control just didn't appear. Turns out I was actually practically standing on it and just didn't see it - well I did but some 6 odd minutes later.
Good fun.
