Today the plan was to do MTBO training with Andrew Power, Glen and some others up in New Castle. However, planning is one thing and reality is another..(after rough night with no sleeping..someone said kids are a joy?)

So, headed late afternoon to Wylde Park to do some training. First lap felt really slow and I was not feeling fast at all, i even made some unnecessary mistake towards the end by going left near the 6km loop junction.

I was so surprised that i did a personal record of around 41:39, looks like the Watts i spent on the Smart Trainer are paying off.

The 2nd lap felt much faster and even though I stopped to pick the bottle which I dropped in the 1st lap..I was still slower by more than 2 minutes than the first lap...Go figure...

The plan is calling for another 75 minutes on the smart trainer tonight, but my legs are crashed, so tomorrow is a new day!
