Felt really good tonight. It has got cold again so i had numb hands but other than that i felt super. Legs feel great.

Felt a bit shit all day today. The whole house were full of cold recently but i seemed to miss it. Today however i felt very tired and run down. Worth keeping an eye on.
When running i felt really light and good despite having sore legs from the weekend's efforts.

A completely pointless 3 peaks recce. The weather was bad here....it was even worse when i got there.
Firstly, i could hardly get there due to flooding (it was even worse getting back) and i spent the most of the time trudging into the wind looking at GPS. Visibility was very very poor.
I cut it shorter than i had planned as the wind was vicious.
I got nothing from it really. Bit more confident on the run to Ribble from the bottom of PenYGhent.

Race is approx 10.3km + 550m. Did it in 52 mins.
It was a solo effort from the start. I pushed hard through the first fields but they were really hard going. Very little traction, ankle deep mud....even knee deep through one gate way. I tapped the climb out, running all the way then cautiously descended. There is a significant amount of time to be saved on the way back down if you know the cut but i wasn't sure and i had seen i had a few mins lead.
Long way off the record and actually 2 mins off the last time i did it but i am not surprised as they first and last 2km were really difficult to run on and last time i used the cut.
