A touch longer than previous days and all feeling fine. No pain or bad feelings in the hip.

Long day on site and back home quite late. By the time I finished this I only had about 15mins until I had to leave to pick Kally up off the train so didn't make it onto the bike today

Easy lunch run. A slight hint of something in the hip near the end but barely anything. I'm a bit paranoid and paying too much attention to things at the moment anyway so might not have even noticed otherwise

Feeling good on this. No efforts but highest average power on any of the cycles I've done in the last week or so and feeling fairly comfortable

No efforts today but a faster average than a lot of this weeks cycles. Quads quite tired from a week of this but enjoying it anyway

Little bit longer and again totally pain free. Not even a hint of things starting to build in the hip.

A bit of a niggle in my groin on the right side (opposite to the side that’s been having the hip pain) in the first 10mins that then passed. Never very sore just a bit aware of something

Steady on the bike with some harder efforts during the advert breaks while watching some tv.

I do like that I can have breakfast and get more or less straight onto the bike rather than loads of waiting after eating like I need for runs.

First run in who knows how long that I would describe as totally pain free. A decent difference from even a week ago. I’m sure it wouldn’t have taken too much longer for the normal feelings to start but nice to be feeling some progress.

Think what I’m doing now is definitely on the right track and will hopefully be back running more normally soon enough

Prerun routine.

As per previous days but with a couple of amendments.

Alternating dead bugs I’ve cut to 3x10-12 each side. Been dealing focussing on keeping my back down to the ground and slowing them down. Think I was rushing through with not great form earlier in the week. This number of reps feels plenty hard enough by the end.

Hamstring bridge have switched to single leg rather than double and cut to 3 sets of 6x10s. Wasn’t getting much from the double ones and these feel a good level of challenging.

Will keep the same going forward
