UC berkeley motala. Got very dead legs very fast and navigation was meh. Even reading control codes, ended up on the wrong level for a lot of controls.

Afterwards went to Bayfront for school club training event thingy which we had 13 people participate in!

12 laps of 25% effort first 100m, 50% next 100, 75% 50, and 95% last 150. First 100 of each lap basically just extremely slow jog recovery. 150s weren't super fast but I wasn't taking the rest super slow.

3 warmup 100s, 6x800 w/4-5 minutes rest (watch died on 4th). Goal lap pace was 84-88 so 2:48-2:56 800, times were 2:51, 2:52, 2:53, 2:55, 2:55, 2:51. Felt pretty good, especially the last one, unlike the super dyingness wanting to quit of the first few workouts so maybe I've gotten used to it or this was just easier. My hip also isn't hurting to do intervals now so maybe that too.

There's an almost always completely dry lake at Stanford and it's so full of water right now! Planned to do Raimundo except followed a new path and took a bunch of shortcuts and didn't actually do Raimundo at all. First run in new shoes so I tried to avoid all the mud which worked great until we ran through closed fields on the last block of the run.

600, 2x400, 3x200, all at 80/lap, and 4 100s in 2 laps. Form falling apart at the end of the 200s and 100s but workout felt good, pretty short. Weather is weird so we started in clear skies and sun and ended in pouring rain.
