Long run around Fort Ord with some friends. This was tough and there was 900+ meters of hills to climb. I ran with my camel back and took some gels along the way.
I felt pretty good all the way up to 15 miles but then I started to get mentally tired. There were more hills at the end than I expected. I was strong on the up hill but my legs were getting tight and so I was slow on the down hills. One of my biggest concerns for future races is how my legs react to those downhills.
Overall, fun run and a nice good long run to test my endurance. It was all on trail too, so not as rough on the body as my long runs on the coastal trail.
