Was super stuck on this essay cos i have no idea what to write about and it was making my head hurt. So i abandoned the library and drove out to win hill. Stu said 12x30secs on the steepest hill i could find so off i went up Holin Clough. Muddy and rocky and steep. First 6 easy concentrating on technique and then 6 full on. Really nice to get my legs working this hard but still feeling good after.

Another rubbish day but dragged myself to training and was very glad i did. Drills and then 4x7min (3x race pace and then 1x fast as). Felt SO NICE to be putting effort in for what seems like the first time in ages. I was feeling pretty sick by the end of the third rep (gross i know) but it's a great feeling to know you're actually pushing your body to the limits. Excited for race season to start to see what will happen!

Having an incredibly grumpy day but thought maybe a run would help. Also fairly tired from last night so i don't think that helped my mood. Did the hilly version of Riv which goes along top path and made a special effort to actually run up the steep bits for as long as i could rather than just being lazy. Got covered in mud and felt a little better.
