Wirksworth Incline (definitely one for the track faries)
4th lady and 25th overall. Beaten by two 14 year old girls which was kind of not ideal.

Plan was to just run it after a tough week and not feeling great in various ways. Stomach cramps and nausea not helping either. Good news: i ran up the whole hill. And didn't stop for a cheeky walk at all.

Three women were ahead of me from the start and just when i caught up the third girl i climbed a fence and ended up spectacularly faceplanting in a cloud of dust and blood. So for the rest of the race i just kind of chugged along in 4th and didn't want to push it cos i felt dizzy and generally unstable.

Pleased with my uphill splits - 5min/km +61m and 6.20min/km +93m
Not so pleased with the scrapes and bruises covering the majority of my body but oh well i've never had pretty legs.

Morning 5km with mummy cos we couldnt make it to parkrun but i managed to pace her to a pb of over a minute!
