600, Sub-40 and a 5min PB for me!
Started off fast going 12-21-30-9-17-16-19-20-8-27-26-2-29-6-28. No errors at all here, running really hard but legs starting to get a little heavy. Slight error (10sec) running through the carpark to 13 and having to go over a small fence. Then 3-14-5 (15 sec error going along the garden instead of the road) then the longer stretch from 1-15-25-22. Stomach was starting to feel a bit uncomfortable but better than normal - i hadn't eaten since 3pm and had an Imodium...maybe i need 2? Pushed through it to finish up 24-18-10-11-23-4. 20 sec error at 23 where i turned right instead of left and came out at a wall. Would've been quicker along the road instead of behind the building.
1st JM and 5mins after a speedy Steve! Turns out i did the reverse of his route. Fast course!

Needed a win for the team to the night and keep our finals hopes alive. My opponent doubled up and while he was fit, he couldn't keep up the intensity in the late stages of each game. Played well but he kept serving it to my forehand which helped. Had a mental/tactical edge playing well at the end of each game when it counted.

SSS #3 "Eastern Coastal Walkway" - Clovelly
Limited planning but ran well. Experimented taking an Imodium tablet 2hrs before and ate food about 30mins before. No stomach problems which was great. Started off ok going 3-2-9-8-10-6-5-23-21-15-12-22-19. Was on track for 600 so went for 27 but lost 2mins here as when i got there it was vandalised and i didn't know what to do. Met the kid who did it running up the hill to 14 who said "Nice box wasn't it". Little shit. Continued well running strongly 14--16-18-30-29-13-17-26-11-28-24-25-7. Was running out of time so just finished here. If 27 was ok and didn't lose time i could've easily got 4 and 1 with the potential for 20 aswell. 590/600 was on the cards - happy with how well i ran and no problems at all.

More muddy than tough. They managed to put mud into EVERY obstacle and a lot of it was just wading through it. Took forever as we walked the whole way - went with 4 other friends. Weather was ok and didn't rain that much. There was a lot of unnecessary walking and no food and drink available as they ran out. Legs and elbows got pretty scratched up. Had to miss some obstacles as the queues were way too long to wait. Good fun but a lot of it was hype. Highlights include: Arctic Enema (going down a shute into an ice bath), Electroshock Therapy (running through electric wires) and Funky Monkey (monkey bars over mud)
