Nice ride along canal to Pentlands, Penicuik, Dalkeith and home. Generally a fast route with a lot of easy paths. Felt strong at the start and fatigued by the end. Puncture 3/4 through with repair going surprisingly smoothly.

Carnethy Ride round Coulter Fell. Very relaxed pace in a large group of 16 with varying ability. Wet and windy throughout but well wrapped up which kept the body temperature about right. Some very tough terrain with a lot of walking and even some of that was a bit too steep for comfort. Very enjoyable.
