Nice in the slush. Left calf was fine, right loosened off until also fine. A bit of glissading down the steeper trails. Managed to find the only ~60m of dry tarmac in Aviemore for strides, I think it was someone's driveway.

Easy running/dog walking and throwing stick. Still a bunch of snow so gave up on strides after trying a couple and slipping about all over the place. Will try and find drier ground tomorrow.

Usual runnable fire road loops made a little more interesting by a few inches of snow. Normal story about lower legs feeling better as things got quicker. Turns out Christmas cake isn't the ideal pre workout food.

Psychological torture on the gym bike. Ten minute spinning at beginning and end, 'moderate' in between, though probably working harder towards the end. My perception of effort is odd on the bike, muscles feel like they're working harder than breathing would suggest they should be. Hopefully calves etc. will be fresh as a daisy tomorrow.
