Orienteering - UK 37:00 [3] 5.7 km (6:29 / km)

Middle Training at Ardesier.
Bit scrappy but got into it - need to hold technique better towards the end as lost plenty of time here.

Monday Feb 20 #

Running warm up/down 30:00 [2] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)

All warmup&Down for both sessions + control collecting in the morning.

Orienteering - UK 53:00 [3] 7.3 km (7:16 / km) +100m 6:48 / km

Solid run - not pushing it too much be pretty clean.
Feeling strong in terrain - new shoes are nice.
Pleased with the compass as well - something ive struggled on before.

Ran as straight as possible - getting the technical training in - but a little slower.

Nice sprint at Nairn with plenty of routechoice and tricky technical stuff.
Felt like I was getting up to speed well hitting the 3:50s.

Running warm up/down 40:00 [3] 8.0 km (5:00 / km)

Warmup & Down for both races + a long 3.5km run out after the second one to loosen the legs off.

Orienteering - UK race 18:10 [4] 3.93 km (4:37 / km)

Nice sprint - mostly in the forest.
Really flat runable forest - running straight on the compass - felt really good technically at the time but after looking at the gps could have been better - lost quite a lot of time in percentage terms.

Orienteering - UK race 16:28 [4]

Afternoon sprint - much more urban and technical.
Took it nice, very few mistakes but not always getting the best lines and losing some time.
Pleased with the result and performance.
Need to get a tad bit of speed work in and the sprint will be coming along nicely.

Pretty tragic ngl - feeling a bit Ill with a headache and loads of mistakes.
Just feel drowsy and really not up to anything.

Could have just lay down in the sun and gone to sleep tbh, way to sleep deprived.
7 PM

Orienteering - UK 49:11 [3] ***** 5.87 km (8:23 / km)

Scottish Nights - memories of some pretty meaty time loss on technical night stuff mean that I took it super slow and got it right.
Worked well except for one 3 minute mistake and a few others x 1 minute.
Pleased with the result.
