Orienteering 40:00 4.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
Not sure how long and how fast this training actually was because I was not wearing my watch, but I did physically-distanced orienteering loops with Siri, Jess, and Annika today! We had a great time. We did 4 courses that were each a little over 1k. I loved getting to orienteer for the first time in weeks, it was refreshing.
Afterward, we decided to jump into Lake Washington together and then swim over to a swimming beach down the shore. I though I could make it because I can swim well enough, but the real obstacle turned out to be my fear of water which I thought I was fighting against so well. I had a panic attack before I could make it very far and Siri had to break the 6-ft distancing rule to help me get to shore. Embarrassing, but over quickly.
Then, on the way home, only about 10 minutes from my house, I accidentally rear-ended another driver! I was biting my nails and looked down for one second too long! VERY embarrassing, not over as quickly, but everyone is okay and the claim is filed and I guess this is just another part of being an adult.
I ate four (4) cupcakes when I finally got home. A very mixed-bag of a day. I am glad to be home, but I am also so happy I got to see my galz and orienteer today.
