Running 12:15 1.61 km (7:36 / km) +12m 7:20 / km
Getting Kendal used to running with a map. Think she liked the game.
Running 52:28 10.46 km (5:01 / km) +154m 4:40 / km
Plan was 2x10mins hills. Decided to do the Illium to Society hill which is 20 mins. Good solid effort this. Beat my PB by 5 secs (which doesn't move me up the leaderboard). Started steady and wound up slowly so the end result was surprising. Need to knock 10secs off to jump 4 places.
Enjoying listening to The Run In. Mårtin Boström's running career from Finland to UNA track to marathon training to WOC Sprint Champ is pretty interesting.
Running 32:06 6.6 km (4:52 / km) +47m 4:42 / km
Easy, evening scurry on the Hike and Bike Trail. Can't beat this weather.
This afternoon it was announced TMR has been cancelled. So with Laramie off and IPR on hold there's nothing to train for. Bit frustrating. I think I'm going to train to beat my IPR PB. The aim was already to get under 3hours. I'll just get someone to drop me in Ouray at the end of August. Plan D!
Running 32:21 2.27 km (14:14 / km) +177m 10:15 / km
Running 1:01:49 9.67 km (6:24 / km) +268m 5:37 / km
Steady from house to Keystone Gorge. Supposed to be a Progression Run, but didn't feel it.
Up early for IPR registration. Only to find it's been moved to July 1st. Grrrrr. Still the sunrise was special.
Running 31:57 5.32 km (6:01 / km) +23m 5:53 / km
Very, very Easy with Kendal while she did 4x400m. Knee is sore.
Running 46:40 9.67 km (4:49 / km) +106m 4:34 / km
Last minute Intervals. 6x5 mins in Illium Valley. Felt better as this progressed. Today wasn't a great day, generally, but the discovery of "The Run In" Podcast made it better. Gleaned some useful knowledge.
Knee held up.
Running 1:00:08 8.85 km (6:48 / km) +364m 5:38 / km
Fartlek which basically turned into Hill Reps. Explored up Iron Mt. Trail. Unbelievable scenery. Huge waterfall that needs exploring at the head of the valley. Didn't feel particularly flighty today.
Went to Montrose. If I were a betting man, every mask wearer in the town owns a car similar to a Subaru and votes Blue. Every none wearer drives something a kin to an F150 and votes Red. If someone took this bet I'd be very wealthy and still wouldn't be an F150 owner. (Terrible thing to say and a terrible generalization....But...)
