Running 1:15:00 [4] 10.4 km (7:13 / km) +323m 6:15 / km

Some ~75m hills at Blackbrook Woods, on the paths with rooty / rocky steps with extended WU & WD. Right calf a bit tight after the WU jog, but didn't give me problems for the rest of the run at all. Not happy with the lack of orienteering I'm doing this week, but been focused on work & will be offset by O-Ringen coming up.

Pretty speedy Stannington ridge loop, seeing all the normal scenery. Legs for sure feeling like the end of a long & high mileage week, but still got some good speed and enjoyable technical running on the rooty paths around western Sheffield. Muscles feel like they are pushing the edge of their comfort zone, after high mileage, which is where I want to be, but I should be careful to not overdo anything before O-Ringen and EOC.

Late night tempo in the dark, legs felt pretty heavy and probably went out 30mins too early, so the stomach was very full & stitch laden. Aerobically felt very good, and even sprinting downhill at the end hardly felt anaerobic surprisingly. Slight discomfort at the start in my right quad / knee area, which I think is coming from the hard-ish running on tarmac (high impact) but yet to be scientifically proven.

Chill long one around Burbage, Higger Tor & Longshaw Estate with Abbie. Legs felt pretty dead by the end ngl, especially after doing essentially 1km through the bracken & tussocks up onto White Edge. Otherwise very wet and drizzly, but enjoyed the few views we got from the top of Froggat & the tors.

Chill alternate Riv down to the Lidl side of the valley (technical term) with the summer ShUOC peeps.

Running 1:20:00 [4] 15.0 km (5:20 / km)

High-ish intensity run out to Wyming Brook, standard loop & back on top path. Legs felt a bit wobbly in the first half of the run, with something strange in the right quad, but went away by the end so not too worried.
