Note

Secured my job for Spain today. I’m going to Bilbao as of the 4th Feb. So excited.
English and french teacher :o and hopefully lots of opportunity for training and travelling! Buzzing

Holy track!

Back down at Reading ac to see some pals and live the only way I know on a Thursday night back at home.

4 x 400m with 200 jog rec, 800m with 400 jog rec and then one final set of 4 x 400m.

Wow! Long!! Felt so good surprisingly. Track efforts feeling comfortable at the start. The final two were pretty grim but was much stronger than I had expected! Managed a fairly normal training week this week despite moving countries etc.

Easy run round by the Thames. Struggled along the towpath slipping and sliding all about the place so the pace took a turn for the worst. Good fun though.

Run intervals 25:14 [5] 5.53 km (4:34 / km) +15m 4:30 / km

4 x 1km with dad round athletics Mecca aka Palmer park in Reading.

Needed a run out after being cooped up in the car for ages! So a session was on the cards.

4 x 1km with 3 mins (500m) jog recovery. Felt good on the first two then died a wee death and dad kept going strong - good on him.

Clinging on just managed to keep the times alright. Felt good nonetheless and keeping pressing for bucs etc.

I’m home people!!!!!!!!

day spent in the car with my dad. I drove 1126km or maybe a bit more over the last 2 days. Wow. Stop over in Lille and no time for runs, only touche touche loup
