Easy run down to Ballyclare then around the park and pitches and home, partly via the old railway line. Headwind on the way out and tailwind home. Felt a bit crappy on this one again.

Up to Ballyboley then around the trails for 90 mins before running back down the road and home. Nice enough day for it although I got out quite early as gale force winds were forecast for later in the day. It was getting pretty wind during the last hour as the clouds moved in. The Forest is in good condition, there has been quite a bit of work on the trails recently. Felt decent for the most part and enjoyed it although I was getting pretty tired towards the end. Kept the effort levels easy at the start and increased a bit as the run went on, never anything more than moderate effort though.

3 x 10 min at 10%. Really tough session , had to talk myself throughout to keep going. Happy to have finished it though. After the first one (which was tough in itself) I didn’t actually think I would manage another 2. Felt good on the warm up and cool down.

Easy run down to Ballyclare then around the park on the grass and along the pitches then the short trail towards home. Felt really crappy at the beginning again but then ok after about 3 or 4 miles.
