Popped back to Aviemore after work so check out a slightly different line for the end of the round which I’d spotted on the map. Could work well as very runnable. Energy levels feeling better than Monday

Felt a bit drained of energy initially but better once fully warmed up. Some heaviness in the legs so kept it nice and flat

Cairngorms receeing
Back in the Cairngorms going over parts of the route I’m least familiar with. Ran the first 1hr 30 a bit harder then hiked/ jogged the rest.
Descent off Ben Macdui through the boulder field not very fun; hopefully won’t lose too much time here. Mist came in for the last hour so limited visibility; feeling much happier with the route though

Plans changed a bit last minute; some good weather out north west so headed out for a mountain top camp on Suilven on Friday night - something that had been on the to do list for a while. Decent hike on Saturday in the Assynt hills

Easy + 5 x 5’ hill reps + Easy
Felt like a better session than the previous weeks reps, a bit more consistent with the 5. Good runnable trail, starts to flatten out a touch just before the end of the reps but worked well
