A lot better today. Far from a perfect run with some scrappy controls. Too low on 2 and had to climb up through the crags, stopped a bit too soon on 3 as was too high, some other slightly less ideal routes, but in general was orienteering so much better than yesterday just always had good plans it felt and was a lot more confident with direction etc. Felt like there were a couple more areas to stretch the legs out running today but still with the limestone and scratchy bushes was quite rough terrain. Some very fun lakes racing

Yeah not the best day in the office. Very scrappy controls 1/2 knocked me back a bit. Definitely wasn’t making good plans and yeah for a lot of it felt very rusty with my technique which could be expected as havent raced like this in a while. I was aware that my processes weren’t great and felt I was ‘rushing’ my o a bit too much. Just more hesitations than usual and less confidence.really enjoyed it and loved being back racing and after a fair chunk of analysis more excited for race tomorrow

HH session 5*300 hills around the bowl, cruise down 2x(8*hill sprints) (up and overs) good session felt way better than last week on the faster stuff and shins ok on tarmac
