Shitty afternoon and evening headache, again maybe dehydration but struggling to consume the right mix of electrolytes vs water. Back sore too, remnants of slogging up the hills yesterday.

Unexpected trail run with Neil E after I realised I'd not have enough daylight to get out to Forvie to tag the control sites. That will have to wait for next weekend.
Headed to Strathfinella, parked up at end of main track in Glen of Drumtochty and we set off up the grind. Lots of climb early on, found the singletrack climb up to the high point on the run the worst, couldn't keep running.
Loved the descents though, did three stages of downhill to the South of the main spur, then long grind back up to high point again before zig zagging down to North side and dropping down a huge steep descent.
Managed to stand on either a rock, stick or nail on left arch at speed which I was sure had punctured my shoe and my foot at time but limped on and it wasn't sore again til I got home. Somehow no damage!
Finally feeling like I can run a bit stronger again, buzzing after the run!
Back still giving me jip... L side SIJ sore most of day and so stiff in the mornings. Struggling for motivation at moment...

W/up was around Cowie, along beach to Salmon Lane, then across white bridge and back to harbour.
Easy to middle pier, hard round to 3 knots, easy back to middle pier, hard back to start. 30s rest, easy to crane, hard to end of road, easy to crane, hard back to start.
Repeated set twice, then did half of set one again. W/down back via white bridge and Ann St.
Back sore through a fair bit of session, never happy to push flat out, so was off the pace.
