I had a bit of trouble on the short controls since I was taking very rough compasses and was not correcting them enough on some of the shorter legs.
This turned into a couple small 1 minute mistakes that could've easily been avoided.

This was actually a lot of fun. It took me 3 tries to hit all the controls, but I did the first loop hitting 6 controls and the second loop hitting 4 controls (including one I already hit before), but I forgot that I had to go to one of the controls so I ended up doing 3 loops instead of 2.
It was great terrain for a memory-O.

National Meet at Pond Mountain
I had an almost perfect race with a lot of good confidence and flow between legs. I made only a 1 minute mistake as it was easily avoidable, I just got nervous I would miss the control and dropped too early, but otherwise the race was flawless.

XC Race at Mill Road
PR on the course with 18:58 (previous PR of around 19:30). Felt really good in the beginning especially, but the hills got to me by the end.
