A good physical session with some interesting bits (not a lot, but some). Mainly hard terrain running over stoney ground and windblow. Nicer than it sounds but it was definitely a tough workout.

Scottish Middle Distance Champs, Hill of Alyth. M40+.
Well that was as close to cross country o as it could be. One miss at No1 and then fifth gear therafeter. Might blame 1 on the fact I was meant to get a 1:7,500 map but all the elite women had nicked them, or that I was meant turn off the path at what I thought was a crag. Turned out to just be a map drawing/printing anomaly so there was nothing on the ground to stop me. Anyway, couldn't have beaten Rog who was on fire. =2nd with Jamie Rennie.
