Sort of training, sort of a race. Keswick three peaks, set off with Anna lupton for cat bells at a brisk pace, quickly realised that if we lost sight of Martin, Rhys, Simon and Chris we had no idea how to get to Walla, so Anna set off at pace after Chris who was a bit behind the others. I duly clung on and we ran hard up cat bells. By the top Catherine spurden was with us which made the urgency disappear and we all had a great fast paced run around walla crag and Latrigg. Our route to latrigg was questionable but did the job, next year will look at a map before setting off.
Amazed my legs were still going, only weak point is right ankle from where I stood awkwardly on a rock on Wednesday. That doesn't like descending for too long....Might have to admit it needs some attention. But not feeling too tired all in all!

So I decided to see how training was going for Haworth hobble by doing a recce. The cloud was much lighter in Yorkshire, score! This proved to be a brilliant idea for 20miles, an ok idea for 24miles, then a long way for 33.2miles....hopefully the last 10miles did me good! Now I just need to work out how to keep running well for the last 10miles....
Almost a disaster after a small detour after hebden bridge had me pushing darkness. Carrot vision used across the final bit of moor back to bronte land.
Not sure where, but I seem to have run an extra 2 miles, the route must have got longer since the last time I did it.....

Mapdec studio HIT training. Fail on the FTP, had to turn it down to 183w from 200 after 5/15 reps for which I'd been putting out around 4w/kg...mean session.
Cold has left vcd in a mess, need to retrain some breathing again, bugger, I'd just got it sorted...
