Run from the Peak across to Abbey Craig then a couple of loops before heading back for a family Christmas Lunch. Legs totally dead on the way out but was feeling really good on the way back and was going a fair pace (I was late anyway!!)

East District XC Champs, Aberdeen - 57th Place

A long way to go to run around some playing fields (and a wee hill twice each lap). Stood with all the other fast/young Central AC guys so it was a comical start and I was in about 10th at the first corner. Doug Tullie and a few other familiar faces passed me soon after but I stuck with it and ended up having a pretty good race. It wasn't muddy at all so I barely had to wash my legs afterwards... A long drive back after as well in the dark.

Wee run from Lothianburn car park up past the ski slope and onto the route of the Pentland Skyline after a work meeting with old colleagues from East Lothian Council (the first time I have been back to my old work place for 12 years). Run up Caerketton Hill, Byerside Hill and Allermuir Hill before doing a loop and heading back. A bit chilly in my shorts on the top!!
