Long run along Rob Roy way and back along road. Lovely morning and didn't need torch on the fell. Too early for sunrise though unfortunately.

Little morning run along the road the other way with 6x10sec hill sprints thrown in.

Got told after breakfast the activity time was now instead of during the downpours in the afternoon which is fair enough.

Whilst everyone else went kayaking or canoeing I decided as a very happy land mammal it was session time. I knew I was a bit tired so just went for 2x5k but up the hills and on gravel forestry tracks.
First one was about 2k of pretty much flat slight headwind then turned and climbed 200m up into a stiffer headwind and was really grinding it out. Happy to sneak under 4min/km.
4min recovery and then the next one I thought would be nicer as it was flatter and slight tailwind. I had spent too much of my money on the first rep though. On the first undulating couple of k was running okay at 3:25 then had to turn into the wind and climb and I just died. 3min of 6min/km and then couldn't muster much more as the climb flattened out.
Then did my WD much faster than both my reps. The fact it was all on road with 320m descending helped.
No free time now until about Thu afternoon. Have to get a long run in before breakfast tomorrow. Got given the orienteering map they use here and a least it is a proper o-map but doesn't look particularly great as most of it has been felled.

Lovely run from Firbush. Found some nice forest trails a mix of runnable gravel ones and then a nice singletrack to throw myself down the hill on.

Armagh sprint quality.
Got stuck 5 sec in with a large cross able fence. Otherwise was very good. I'm not a fan of the requirement to read descriptions but this is biased by my inability to do it well.
Feeling okay and eased up towards the end as was confident.

Armagh Sprint Final.

Spent the 3 hours inbetween desperately trying to stay awake. Started the race and my brain just seemed fried. I had to look at the map so much as I kept forgetting. Felt like reading a book where you have to read the line repeatedly. It was embarrassing. My legs seemed okay but still losing a lot of time of running legs.
