Great Brook State Forest Green course. Where else can you orienteer and buy ice cream afterward from an ice cream stand *on the map*, possibly even made from milk from cows raised on the farm *on the map* ? The orienteering was OK, too. I got confused/sloppy a couple of times, although, in my defense, in the northern portion of the map, north of the houses, the map could use a few corrections, or at the very least, the addition of unmapped trails.

After some cool down and some lunch, I set off for some trail riding on my MTB. Off the south edge of the mapped area, I encountered a couple preparing to walk their dogs. I did a loop on the paved cul-de-sac where they had parked, and began again the trial portion, when I recognized one of the couple as a former colleage from DEC/Compaq/Intel. I walked my bike with them and their dogs for 15 minutes or so, getting caught up again. At a junction, they went one way and I another.

At the end of the biking, I stopped for ice cream. Mmm good.
